I asked the question if there would/could be a scenario book release for AOI, over on Consim. I also included Alaska'43 and Afrika'44 in the query. The answer was no, full releases only.

There is a AOI page on BGG now. The credits are missing. When someone actually gets the scenario book, please fill me in, or them in on the page.

Well, I'll own up to it. I broke down and ordered it too, but begrudgingly as I hate to reinforce APL's behavior of holding my $$ for 2-3 years or more!

I received Africa Orientale Italiana tonight and AP did a good job of mixing all the game components to make a nice package.

I'm guessing that APL had one of those math errors on the AOI packaging though, as the box indicates 671 pieces, but I keep coming up with 660?

Yeah, I count 660 counters as well, counting the markers.

Yes. There are 77 on the Indian half-sheet, not 88.

My copy of AoI arrived today, along with my die cut COOE counters. Finally. They did a couple of extra laps through the USPS before showing up at my door this afternoon.

I see that the counter total discrepancy in AoI has been resolved. Yay. Now it's time to play.
