RE: Why use infantry AT weapons?
My experience with infantry AT is about 50/50. Depends on how many units you have in the hex.

RE: Why use infantry AT weapons?
Against an armor value of 0, there is a 1/2 x 12/36 (16.7%) probability of causing exactly one step loss and 1/2 x 21/36 (29.2%) probability of destroying the target/
Against an armor value of 1, there is a 1/2 x 15/36 (20.8%) probability of causing exactly one step loss and 1/2 x 15/36 (20.8%) probability of destroying the target/
Against an armor value of 2, there is a 1/2 x 16/36 (22.2%) probability of causing exactly one step loss and 1/2 x 10/36 (13.9%) probability of destroying the target/
Against an armor value of 3, there is a 1/2 x 15/36 (20.8%) probability of causing exactly one step loss and 1/2 x 6/36 (8.3%) probability of destroying the target/
Against an armor value of 4, there is a 1/2 x 12/36 (16.7%) probability of causing exactly one step loss and 1/2 x 3/36 (4.2%) probability of destroying the target/
Against an armor value of 5, there is a 1/2 x 9/36 (12.5%) probability of causing exactly one step loss and 1/2 x 1/36 (1.4%) probability of destroying the target/
Against an armor value of 6, there is a 1/2 x 6/36 (8.3%) probability of causing exactly one step loss and 1/2 x 0/36 (0%)probability of destroying the target/
Against an armor value of 7, there is a 1/2 x 3/36 (4.2%) probability of causing exactly one step loss and 1/2 x 0/36 (0%)probability of destroying the target/
Against an armor value of 8, there is a 1/2 x 1/36 (1.4%) probability of causing exactly one step loss and 1/2 x 0/36 (0%)probability of destroying the target/
Against an armor value of 9 or more, it is ineffective.
Before using a special infantry AT fire, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well do ya, punk?
