how do you attach a picture for an icon with your posts?

I remain awfully computer ignorant. I do have a picture of myself here, in the introduce yourself page. Can I associate that picture with my name in posts in the forum?

Larry, your picture may be a little big, but it will get resized when it's uploaded. You may need to make it more square. Anyway, how you do it:

1. Go to the User CP
   
2. In the column on the left, you will find your profile information. Click on Change Avatar.
   
3. In the screen that appears, there is a browse button. Click that.
   
4. Find the image file on your computer.
   
5. Click the Change Avatar button.
   
   That should get you up.

Thanks. I figure when I retire (Dec 18th, same day I proposed to my wife, same day I started work with the City, and now same day I began the rest of my life) I'll get my wife's still in the box laptop with Vista up and running. Maybe she'll even let me use it :-)
