It's so enormous that we pretty well burned him [John Stafford] out. He'll be taking a break from Panzer Grenadier to work on his own game designs for a while, and those should be really good (when you edit and publish these things for a while, you find out who actually delivers). We'll be needing at least two new Panzer Grenadier Family developers. Hard to pass up the creative freedom and dynamic environment (that means "lack of direction" and "harsh deadlines").

and

Korean War - Counter Attack
Broken Axis
IA: Fall of Empires
IA: Lawrence of Arabia

before taking a break? If not, who picked up the torch ("...from dying hands, we throw...")?

Amazing work over 2012-2014 nonetheless, inspiration for me to finish the GWAS / SWWAS core rules updates.

Mike has written that he was looking for at least two volunteers and of the people I know, I am sure Vince Hughes, Alan Sawyer, and Matt Ward would make good developers, should they decide to embrace 4th edition rule.
