I think it is 30% off and a (sometimes) freebee,
True that.

RE: Crete - possible map or scenario errata
Peter, I have not purchased Parachutes Over Crete so it's impossible for me to determine which scenario did not make it to publication. Not a knock against the product - I love everything Mike Perryman designs - it's just that I have the original maps, scenarios, and my own pieces and that will be sufficient for me until I want to play a bunch of scenarios with better components.

I did check the published scenario names against what was submitted and they were a number of changes (again, just normal) so I cannot easily identify the "missing" scenario.

I think I found even another mistake: I’m playing scenario #10, and it calls for a Greek Lt. Colonel. Two Colonel pieces exist, but no Lt. Colonel. Comments?

I noted that in the comments entry portion for the scenario pages. Use a Greek colonel in place of the LTC.
... More and more, people around the world are coming to realize that the world is flat! Winking

The image of the map on the Parachutes Over Crete page on this website does have the correct location of those town hexes.

The counter loss must explain the missing Greek Lt. Colonel in scenario #10. I substituted a Colonel, of which there are 2 counters. I’m wondering if one of the Colonels is supposed to be a Lt. Colonel.

Board 98 included 3 town hexes in design , development, and testing. Attached is the map I made in HexDraw by copying Mike Perryman's hand drawn map.

There were 40 scenarios in MIke Perryman's submission. It's possible one of the scenarios had to be dropped due to the countersheet limitations or other reason, it happens for almost all projects.

Edit: added map used in development.

Hug--- what tool did you use to make that map? was it HexDraw? do you have a set of templates/tile set?....thanks!

I used HexDraw as you guessed. I do not use a template.

Another situation is Opportunity Fire against Parachute troops vs. Direct Fire. As the Parachute troop is landing, isn’t he moving? Direct fire would indicate that the Parachutist is not moving. The confusion exists over rule #11, which states Direct Fire against parachuting units (rather than opportunity Fire)involves an additional +1 column modifier in the turn of landing

Thus both Direct Firel and Opportunity Fire provide the same modifier?
