RE: AT fire *during* assault
I realize that what is happening in the hex is at a sub scale to normal PG. It would almost be like taking the fight to a smaller scale. Then you would see weapons firing at the perceived most dangerous opponent to themselves. If it's armor and non-armor attacking a similar mix if the non-armor on defense has ranged AT they will use it. If they do not then the defenders will be trying to separate the attackers forces into two parts so the defenders non-armor can close to the attacking armor.
I would vote that defenders should be able to fire AT if the attacker includes armor.
