I actually had a couple of pieces in a recent VPG purchase (Darkest Night, I believe) where the laser didn't quite go all the way through for whatever reason and I had some flash on the counters. That's the 1st time I've seen it with the laser cuts. As for the long-term holding up, we'll have to see. I don't know if laser cutting "cauterizes" the counters or not.
