I am Ok with the price point - although I usually can wait until there is a sale through the newsletters or specials to Gold Club members. In fact, since there are alot less sales to rid them of inventory, it makes the GC cost worth it, especially since I still have a few games to add to the collection.

Example, with GC membership and Black November sale, I bought the following from APL:

Fall of France
Arctic Front Deluxe
Golden Journal Winter (Free with GC)

With shipping, the above cost me $65.10 TOTAL. before discounts, the price was $110.00 before shipping. That being said, I wouldn't have a problem paying full price, especially on a topic I enjoyed. I just can afford to be patient.
