I would like address the elephant Felipe brought into the room. 
His basic interpretation is that every shot resets the crossfire situation. (Like Craig says, it's not RAW, but let's run with it for a moment.)

Unit C gets 2 shots. Does the first shot reset the crossfire? Why or why not?

I still have trouble believing this is still going on.  Rolleyes
