It actually looks more like it keyed on the word "adjacent". The rule specifically says
2nd and/or subsequent shots. Nothing about each shot being treat as a new "first shot".
But if you want to go with that interpretation, then another question comes up. Does unit C get the bonus twice or once? (It would have armor efficiency under rule 11.2.) Or are you creating shots and other shots?
If you want to play by your own rules, keep in mind that they are your rules. All of you oldsters could not grasp the notion when I said, before the game you negotiate the rules to be applied. Now this thread has gone on ad nauseam because English seems to be a second language for some.
