I don think I am. My book, page 16, has map 77 for for scenario 51. The 3rd victory condition bullet says: Control all 60-meter hill hexes of Djebel el Beida at then of play. Map 77 has no 60-meter hill hexes.

Again, my book on page 4, has the Germans entering the map from the west side. The 3rd objective for the Germans os to exit 10 steps off the west side. An easy task if that's where you enter. If the Germans can eliminate 1 American step and bogey back, they win.
Yep, this is sure a confusing write up, but it seems to hinge on a mistake in the published victory conditions in the new publication.

To recap; in the new Big Red One game book, #51 Djebel el Beida, the German side is instructed to set up as defending on Map 77 around Hex 0707. This is NOT a 60-meter hill mass, but IT IS a 40-meter hilltop, so the Map 77 designation appears to be correct. There is no victory condition about exiting units in this scenario. The problem seems to be that the 2nd & 3rd victory conditions should read: VC-2) the Americans control more 20-meter hill hexes on Djebel el Beida than the Germans, AND VC-3) the Americans must control all the 40-meter hill hexes on Djebel el Beida.

Alternately, if the intended Map was, indeed, number 76, and not 77, then Hex 0707 is on the wrong (west) side of the north-south road, and is in a ground-level valley!

In sum, I think that that Map 77 designation is correct, but that the, as published, victory conditions need to specify 40 and not 60-meter high elevations on Bjebel Beida.

Hope that this is helpful.
