Tmo, you'll find most veteran PG players in agreement that Fog of War should be a core rule rather than optional.

Omitting it allows a player to leave demoralized units until the very end of the turn and then spend multiple activations on "rally cleanup" because they can be sure that every single unit will get a chance to activate each turn.

Including it forces the player to make difficult decisions about action priority.

It's worth using.
