RE: Burning Tigers
Didn't get the bonus countersheet with my Tigers. The Assault table is 2d6 and has the same columns as the old 1d6 chart.
The turn chart will look familiar to most of you.

Counters are a little thicker than KSF, but not much.

Is anybody able to put pictures up on the Board Game Geek entry?

This would be for us legacy owners from 2008. You would get thumbs up from me.

I'd like my Ruhr River Battles campaign ribbon. Wonder which of us will receive satisfaction first?

Oh, so that's it! You've been on strike refraining from logging in any further scenarios until you get your next tour of duty ribbon! Well buster, get in line -I'm still waiting on my 'Airborne IE' ribbon. However you may be on to something; perhaps I should postpone completing the last two 'Guadalcanal' scenarios until I get satisfaction! Wink

Back on topic, curious to how the Goliath explosive tanks are represented in KBT. Are there actual combat unit counters for them or are they more of an SSR?

RE: Burning Tigers
There was a time I wanted a ribbon and decided the Airborne - IE ribbon would be the easiest to get. After playing scenario #1 and rating it a "1", my will had already crumbled.

A Burning Tigers ribbon, now we're talking.

RE: Burning Tigers
Brett, they are counters, movement allowance 4 in upper right counter, functions by specific rules in scenario folder.

Speaking of folders, I had been under the impression that the optional rules would be printed in a separate folder, but they are pages 36-41 of the 4th edition rulesbook.

Huh, I thought they were in a separate booklet too. Are they all the ones we saw in part 1 and 2 on the AP site?

RE: Burning Tigers
Yes, they are the ones in part 1&2 on the site. Could be Mike's intention was to print them up as a separate component, but it turned out to be quicker to do them as a single book. The back page, page 36 of the online 4th edition rulebook, is now page 42 of the rulebook.

That sir requires you to slap Jay around the face with a thin leather or silk glove ..... choose your weapon whilst you're at it !

RE: Burning Tigers
I like the maroon direct fire numbers on the flampanzers.....evocative.

For those who haven't received Burning Tigers yet, the new counters are dug in=one man in a pit, just his head above the ground. disrupted=several men in the distance milling around demoralized=close up of one man, hit helmet akimbo, looking like he's about to lose his rations and entrenched=a dark photo of a number of men running in a trench. These images are all done mostly in shades of gray, and hard to make out from a distance or with old eyes (of course old men have problems making out anyway).

The title burning tigers makes more sense than North Flank, become many of the scenarios cover actions of army group south.

RE: Burning Tigers
Hmm, I suspect I'll keep using the old Disrupted and Demoralized counters. Maybe the old Dug-in and Ent as well.
