As you can see there are quite a lot of games listed, but as happend with lsenborn not all seem to be available...

With Eastern Front, you will get a game with mostly wide open terrain with a few large limiting terrain features. The defender will usually get the opportunity to fire at units advancing in the open.

As a second game, you may want a game which plays differently.

Saipan includes many tiny and small scenarios that can be played in 1 to 2 hours. Limiting terrain is plentiful and the defenders will not get many opportunities to fire at attackers in the open. Assaults will be the word of the day. Line of Sight may be difficult to assess for your first scenario or two because there is so little open ground.

1940: Fall of France includes a very good variety of small, medium, and large scenarios. The maps include many terrain features which makes it more difficult to set up the defenders and easier for the attacker to advance under some cover. Interesting Orders of Battle in my opinion. One drawback is the scenarios often include terrain mods (ignore hills on board XYZ for example) and some players do not like that.

Cassino '44 includes several small scenarios which can easily be played in less than 2 - 3 hours. Gorgeous maps with larger hexes. Many terrain features which will make play different than Eastern Front. Very well rated and often recommended for an introductory game (with a price caveat). Beside the high price, another drwaback is the maps are not geomorphic and thus it's extremely unlikely they will see further use in an expansion.

Given your list, I would say Fall of France would be a good one to learn on. Good variety, French are tough but have weakness. Eastern Front is ok, as Hugmenot points out very plain boards and I find fighting with the Soviets takes a bit of play before you get the hang of the Soviets.

If you do get Herr Hughes over to Germany with his collection, watch his dice rolls he a lucky mate.

Which scenarios of Eastern Front would you suggest for beginners (since I´m getting this one definitely)?

#19: First Blood uses 17 units and all are infantry or artillery. This will help you learn the leader rules and basic infantry movement, combat, and assault tactics. It's small enough that you can play it several times to learn the rules very quickly.

#43: Red Steel - Tank Battle at Chisinau uses only 13 counters and all are tanks. This will help you learn the AFV rules. It's small enough that you can play it several times to learn the rules very quickly.

After playing those two scenarios, you should have a good grasp of the majority of the rules.
