Academy Scenario 2
"Special Rules The Soviet player may call for one randomly drawn aircraft on any 4 turns."

Is this supposed to mean first 4 turn since there are 6 all together?

RE: Academy Scenario 2
It means you can call for it 4 times.....
but be careful....I think after the first one you may not like the result......

so you could call on 2 3 5 6 kinda thing....

RE: Academy Scenario 2
Need a clarification, if I can. Since the Germans can setup within 1 hex of the hill, does that mean of the Soviet objective that the Germans MUST be physically on the hill or just within the 1 hex limit?
I'm over thinking things.  Confused

RE: Academy Scenario 2
The Soviet objective is to have 2 or less German units on the hill at the end of the game (I know it says "fewer than", my bad). The Germans start with 5 units, so easy, right?

I get the fewer than:
"German Set up first on or within one hex of the hill. Units in one hex may begin dug in. "
So because the Germans can setup within 1 hex is that still considered being ON the hill for objective's sake?

RE: Academy Scenario 2
On the hill is on the hill. Within 1 hex of the hill is around the hill, but not on it.

Nearly all players have setup on the hill.

That -1 for more than 3 units in a hex makes me shy away from stacking like that. Guess if the big guys do it, so can I Big Grin

RE: Academy Scenario 2
There are 4 hexes on that hill. It shouldn't be a problem. (Remember, leaders are not units.)
Give it a shot, it's a training thing. The point of the scenario has more to do with knowing the game and using Vassal. That is why winning and losing isn't actually defined.
