- Supervising the final construction, furnishing, and IT installation at the new building.
- Managing the project to install a VoIP phone system across our 3 facilities in Illinois, scheduling training, and defining hunt group behavior rules.
- Supervising installation of our dedicated fiber optic internet connection to our new facility, and the MPLS connections to our other 2 existing facilities.
- Hiring an Operations Director - Southwest, a Digital Manufacturing Specialist, a Regional Sales Manager, and an Office Administrator for the new building.
- Coordinating the itineraries for the executives of 6 different suppliers from Taiwan and China flying into Illinois and assembling at our new facility for strategic meetings over a 9 day period beginning 9/10.
- Sleeping, occasionally.
- Wishing I was fishing.
- Wishing it was October already and all of the above was done.
- Thinking about all the things I'm supposed to be doing on PG-HQ and haven't been, like Tour of Duty medals.
- Checking PG-HQ when I need a 30 second mental break
