I took a quick look at the GGFF-Alamein sheet. The unscaled counters are half inch, so I think that is good. If I was printing on A4 paper, I would print with the auto-center option off. That should left & top justify the print. There is enough margin on the sheet for the bottom. If course, if it were really me, I would take out the lines on one side, add some guides, and splash a background color.
Anyway, try it without centering.
