Are there any other new units I could get started on?

Is it that Belgian thing? Should it be tracked? 1 or 2 steps?

Weapons en portée on trucks were popular during WW1. The W15TCC tank destroyer was naturally born out of that tradition when an armored prototype was built in 1939. The prototype was made of a Laffly W15T wheeled tractor mounting the excellent 47mm APX AT piece on its rear deck. However performant, the vehicle was not accepted for production (preference was given to the Somua SAU 40). On 24 May 1940, in full urgency, 10 X tank destroyer batteries were ordered. The W15TCCs eventually reached 70 in numbers and 12 batteries were built in just a few weeks. Unlike the prototype, the serie W15TCC was only lightly armored : FT17 armored plates were used to protect the gun shield, roof and forward shield of the vehicle. the vehicle armament was completed with a FM24/29. CC stands for "Contre Chars" (= anti-tank).
The BACA (batterie antichar automotrice = AT SP battery) was:

3 X 25mm AA (25 CA modèle 39) + trucks

SK 7, gepanzerte Zugkraftwagen 8t or Gep SK7 was a lightly armoured SK 7 provided to the batteries of the three schwere Pz-Jager Abt . This vehicle was the prime mover for 88mm guns equipped with an enlarged gunshield. They were issued to the 33 X 8.8 cm FlaK 18 with schwere Pz-Jg-Abt 525 (often used by the 32th ID), 560 and 605; each of these battalions had 3 companies and they were used in Belgium and France in May and June 40 exactly the same way as the Buflas.

I understand what it is. The S15 is a light tractor, which looks like cement truck with the drum removed. Put a flatbed on the back, mount an AT gun on the on the bed and an MG over the cab and you have a WT15 tcc. Except for some corner cases, it is a 47APX truck portee. So, why a separate counter? I had the question about the VLM, but figured it was a retro application thing.

Has the WT15 got 1 or 2 steps? Does it still use motorized movement?

How is this functionally different than a Bufla?

W15TCC : it was already present in some of the original scenarios of Fall of France as a 47 APX en portée. I prefer specific counters in anyway. One step or two steps ? I don’t know what they have decided… It should be two steps if one counter is 5 vehicles (one battery).

Gep SK7 : the halftrack (transport) is armored but the gun (88mm) is in tow. Much less vulnerable when transporting…
