Dismounted operation in PG
Mike (Greyfox), does this work for you? I took the IA rules, crossed out a couple things and re-indexed them. I also added a little for horse artillery and horse mortars.

RE: Dismounted operation in PG
So far I am liking what I have read. Not sure about allowing all leaders to lead dismounted cavalry. I kind of like the challenges associated with working within established leadership chains. I am going to have to carve out sometime to play test them. I would like to see challenges associated with demoralization of dismounted cavalry during assault combat.

It has long been established in PG, that regular leaders could activate cavalry and apply their modifiers to cavalry units. What they cannot do is order cavalry charges (I think I would apply that to overruns too), or move with them when activating from an adjacent hex. So without a cavalry leader, you just have mounted infantry with poor weaponry.
