Trivial KW aircraft question

In 1948 the USAF changed its fighter designation from P (meaning pursuit) to F (for fighter). P was redesignated for reconnaissance, as in photo-reconnaissance. This means the P51 counters in Pusan Perimeter and Counter Attack are technically wrong. I am musing about making the P51 pieces in Vassal F51's. I wouldn't have a problem either way with them, some might. That's why there is this poll.

At this moment, 100% of respondents vote for the change to F51. I would just go with me I mean them...

I'm usually the stick in the mud when it comes to these kinds of changes, and not even I have a problem with this. When you change combat values to something different than what "came in the box" is when I get cranky.

Only 8 votes separated the 2 sides. As it is, it looks for the Korean War the aircraft will be know as the F51.
