Afrika Korps Hills and C&CV2
I'm setting up Scenario 1 from C&CV2 which uses Afrika Korps map 1 and places hill counters to indicate hills.  The instructions are: "Place Hill markers in hexes 0515, 0701,
0901, 1602 and 1805."  I get what 0515, 0701, and 0901 are doing it creates a a 20 level hill for the dark brown bands of hexes and a 40 level hill for the Orange-Brown band of hexes.  But the 1602 and 1805 placement have me perplexed.  The dark brown band of hexes is one are as they connect at the tip of the depiction so why put two Hill counters in the same dark brown band? Or am I not getting it and because there are two hill counters it simply means this hill is also like the first, the dark brown is 20 meters and the orange-brown is 40 meters?

Thanks for your help.

Assuming there isn't a typo, like 1805 should be 1803. That southern ridge is all at 20-meter elevation, both grey and orange areas. Why put hill hexes in 1602 & 1805 doesn't make a lot of sense. The entire ridge is in the playable area.

I check Consim. No clarification there either.
... More and more, people around the world are coming to realize that the world is flat! Winking

Well, if it is supposed to be 1803 vice 1805 then I think then the orange portion is the next level up, 40, as 1803 is orange.  If the whole ridge was to be just 20, wouldn't just one hill counter suffice to make it so?  I think I'll jus make a command decision and make it 20 for the grey and 40 for the orange.  After having set up, I don't think it will make a hill of beans either way (pun intended).  Wink
