Decapitation in a Multifront Game
Although nothing is stated in the rules concerning decapitation on multiple fronts, there are situations in which senior commanders appear in games that feature multiple fronts. While I have not seen two equal ranked senior commanders on say an east front and a West front game; for example, a Colonel and a Colonel commanding on both fronts, I have seen a Colonel on one and a Lt. Colonel on an opposing ront.(Crete #7 and #8).
I have been tempted to employ decapitation for both fronts. In other words, if the senior commander of either front was killed or deserted, decapitation would occur on that front. Thus, if the Lt. Colonel, even though technically lower ranked, was killed on one front, as the senior commander of that front, decapitation would occur ccur for that force.
