Dunkirk #4 Which Bridge?

As far as I can tell there are 2 bridges between the swamps, but the scenario keeps referring to one bridge to be fixed by the Germans. Is this the “concrete “ looking bridge in in 125:0509-0608, not the wooden one in 125:0513.

Yes, it is. All the bridges connected to trails are footbridges only. The ‘real’ bridge is the concrete looking one.

Dunkirk’s terrain is probably the most complicated in the PG series. My eyes are taxed to interpret the dark greens on darker greens, various field, forests with roads or RRs running through them. And you tconfrrmed what a RR to track looks like. The special rules don’t talk about the TEC “railed embankments “which block LOS and cost increased MPs to cross (versus moving along the RR.) The forest on board 124 is a regular wooded type, not a heavy type. Thanks for your help, Leonard.

The problem is that the maps turned out too dark except for the city board. Notice that all woods are normal except if stated otherwise. No railroads except stated in a special rule.

Actually, the footbridge would be in play in #4 at the south end. I never. had any German trucks cross that bridge, only infantry. There should be further clarification in the scenario about the footbridge.
