The scenario you posted on your blog would have played quite differently if fields blocked LOS.

Yes, the scenario would be different. But played by the rules it was very interesting and it caused the Brits to make some tough choices early on and I like that.

In the Third Edition of the rules, fields do block LOS.  See under Spotting in section 1.1:

Very interesting. Now I know why in the back of my mind i thought they blocked LoS. Was this a conscious change or an oversight?
