RE: Revision, re-package, reissue
Indeed. $119 or more for an introductory game doesn't do it. The 8 original maps need to be kept in print. Maybe a return to the original format , PG with 4 maps, and a Heroes replacement with the other 4.

I can see a series of East Front games.

1) Barbarossa with 4 maps and scenarios from the opening attack to the end of the counter offensive with the beginning of the mud time in 1942. They could fold the two supplements set around Leningrad that have scenarios in this time frame into it.

2) Case Blue with 4 maps and covering from the Soviet spring attacks to the end of Manstein's counter attack that created the condition's for Kursk.

3) The year of decision with scenarios around the offensives the Soviet's started immediately after Kursk running up to just before...

4) Bagration covering from that offensive to the end of the year or 1/45. This one would need counter sheet(s) for the new equipment coming into the field.

5) The Flanks taking care of the end in Finland, the Balkans and Courland. Probably need one counter sheet and maybe 2 maps here.

6) Race to Berlin focusing on the finish there.

They could fold many of the scenario books into any of these. This would also give them an opportunity to bring the existing EFD/RtB maps up to KSF/BT standards. The revised maps could be sold separately thus making another money stream for them and showing they think about those of us who have stayed with them since the beginning. That would make for 20 maps that would cover most things on the eastern front.
