Skype is sun setting

For those who haven't heard, Microsoft pulling the plug on Skype. The last functional day is April 30th.
(Coincidentally, the same day my property taxes are due.)

Microsoft wants to switch everyone to Teams. Having used it in a corporate environment, I think Teams is a bit sucky, especially for individual use. Of course that's me. Looking at alternatives, I've settled on 2 candidates, Viber and Discord. Situationally, it looks like I will be trying Discord first.

Regardless, be ready. The end is near.

I don't know about Viber, but Discord works great. I use it for audio with two other game series (along with Vassal), and have not had any issues. In fact, I believe that it is better than Skype anyhow and uses less bandwidth.
