Homebrew Scenarios Q&A
Introduction
As PG-HQ nears its 15th birthday (where has the time gone) I've decided to add support for homebrew scenarios. We will launch the homebrew section on our birthday June 6th. To allow time for submission and editing of the first batch of scenarios, I'm announcing the feature now.
How It Will Work - Scenario Authors
(with the caveat that everything is subject to change) You will email your scenario information to admin@pg-hq.com. It will be evaluated for completeness and clarity. Deficiencies will be addressed via email until the content is suitable for publishing. After the initial launch, new scenarios will be released on a rolling basis and announced on the front page.
Authors will be required to submit the same type of content you see in the scenario books - intros, OOBs, setups, victory conditions, conclusions, etc. etc. We will support any additional content you deem necessary such as graphics or custom counter art.
Authors are required to playtest their scenarios prior to submission and every effort should be made to submit seasoned content. We are not looking for Tom's Ambush v1, v2, v3 ... clogging up the site as you figure out what is and isn't working for your scenario.
How It Will Work - Players
Homebrew scenarios will be placed in a separate, 4th wing of the Library. You will record plays, AARs, and ratings as normal.
To Address Some Predictable Questions & Comments Quickly
Q. Does it have to be called Homebrew? I have a better idea...
A. No. That's what I'm calling it for now but I haven't settled on the final name yet. Please post your suggestion below.
Q. What if I don't want to play these? I only care about official scenarios.
A. Then ignore them. They will have no effect whatsoever on the rest of the site and they cost us nothing to add besides time.
Q. What if the scenario is awful?
A. Rate it 1 and move on. Player ratings will quickly separate the quality from the dross and we will make scenario average rating quite clear.
This concludes my announcement. I cede the floor to our esteemed members...
...came for the cardboard, stayed for the camaraderie...

RE: Homebrew Scenarios Q&A
Cool, I have some old ones from a while back, I'll make sure they are up to date and submit them. I know Jay has a collection too.
Will Lost Battalion be moving to the Homebrew section or will it stay "official" since someone earned the ribbon, and it was also published in the Daily Content?
... More and more, people around the world are coming to realize that the world is flat!

Looks like goosebrown, Tambu, sagunto, Chaco, Cochise75 and I will have to get to work in earnest on Vencereramos - our much-discussed set of draft Spanish Civil War scenarios. Looking forward to when APL releases the new set of 1936-1939 counters for use in the upcoming release of Jarama 1937.
