The reason I posed this teaser was to see whether people here expended MP's a la ASL, ie: bit by bit per each part of the move within a hex or whether they expended them in one go. ie - entering the loaded truck and disembarking with an immediate cost of 3MP's rather than 2MP's than 1MP.
I too believe in firing as the unit ENTERS the hex (ie - loaded truck) rather than the mass call of MP's per hex.
Hope this makes sense as to the differences I'm alluding to.
Nice to see that I think we are all on the same page for this one.

Or, for a Star Trek quote:
"Well this is an Enterprise first! Dr. McKoy, Mr. Spock, and Engineer Scott find themselves in complete agreement. Can I stand the strain!?"
Ha...I was wondering this question today (about a T-34 blowing the crap out of an APC before it could unload it's precious cargo and taking a platoon and leader with it) and see that I already weighed in on this thread. One interesting thing (I guess the was a 3rd-4th change) is Vince's comment in post #3 that units can't be fired on while unloading and not moving. 4th Edition makes it clear that they can be fired upon with opp fire if it's voluntarily unloading.
