I know we'll have British, Australian and Arab irregular and Turkish Camelry in Lawrence of Arabia for Infantry Attacks, but did either side use Camelry in the Ethiopian campaign? RE: Ethiopia - otto - 04-02-2014 There should not be camels ... nor other exotic animals. I do not think they were used at all by Ethiopians but I will ask Lorenzo RE: Ethiopia - plloyd1010 - 04-02-2014 I read the Elephant Corps article with mild amusement. I noticed a couple of urban legends and a Darwin Award in there. Still my favorite has got to be BBC spaghetti trees. (Microsoft's internet alpine yodeling was good too.) RE: Ethiopia - Poor Yorek - 04-02-2014 Hrrm, Major "I don't give a shit" is quite the character. And his wife? Was this article written by Dr. Scatologica? RE: Ethiopia - vince hughes - 04-02-2014 Peter. LOL - Yes, a classic piece of TV RE: Ethiopia - larry marak - 04-02-2014 Otto, Italian zaptie forces (camelry) were commited from Italian Somaliland in the invasion of Ethiopia. The only African native to win the Italian Gold medal of valor was a camelryman. RE: Ethiopia - larrymm - 04-02-2014 There seems to have been a European manifestation as well, as recreated in the Road to Berlin scenario "Rebirth of Camelry." |
