I have not.
It was one of the six series I considered purchasing when I returned to wargaming (Squad Leader, Advanced Squad Leader, Advanced Tobruk System, Conflict of Heroes, Tide of Iron, Panzer Grenadier). The list was eventually narrowed down to ATS and PG, and I chose PG because of PG-HQ.
You can download the Tide of Iron rules from http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_nrep.asp?eidm=19 Lots of examples of play so it will give you a good idea how it plays.
