Map sources for scenario books - larry marak - 04-27-2013 I'm working out a set of scenarios for a Europe 46 series, in which the last battles in Europe are fought in 46, not 45. ( see 5 days worth of discussion on the alt history thread at consimworld the last week) I'd like to keep the maps used limited to just 3 games, RtB, Infantry Attacks (for Poland) and xxxxx (for Northwest Europe, soon to be released). I'm thinking that new maps breathe new life into scenerios using older counters. Do you think using I.A. maps is a bad idea? I know Dr. B himself has talked about using the I.A. maps and those from Fall of Empires for a scenario package set in 44. RE: Map sources for scenario books - Hugmenot - 04-27-2013 Maps 44, 45, 46, and 49 from Infantry Attacks: August 1914 are rather unique and I would love to see more PG scenarios that use them. RE: Map sources for scenario books - Matt W - 04-27-2013 Given the swampy terrain depicted in the Infantry Attacks maps I wonder if they would be good for the Veritable offensives in 1945. |
