Woods/Light Woods - clarkmj111 - 07-21-2026 Is there a pictorial of terrain anywhere? I am playing Intro 1 in invasion 1944 and I am not sure if i am dealing with woods or light woods or some combination of both on board 106? RE: Woods/Light Woods - Grognard Gunny - 07-22-2026 Some of us STILL have that problem. There isn't much of a depiction of terrain....maybe here and there on some of the earlier games/boxes but nothing "permanent". All I can say is that heavy woods/jungle generally is depicted as a tighter or move covered hex, while the light woods/jungle hexes are more sparingly covered. If there is any question on a given hex, you can settle it with your opponent before "battle". GG RE: Woods/Light Woods - clarkmj111 - 07-22-2026 Thank You! As i am solo-ing an amicable solution is easy to come by ... i just wondered if there was an official chart somewhere...
RE: Woods/Light Woods - leonard - 07-22-2026 The back cover of Invasion 44 (book version) has a terrain chart. It just says « Woods » for the terrain depiction. Thus, no Light Woods here. RE: Woods/Light Woods - Grognard Gunny - 07-24-2026 There are some.... but they are few and far between. GG |
