Airborne map Embankment - Blackcloud6 - 05-31-2025 The Embankment hexes on the Airborne map (hexes 0410, 0411) block LOS. If the LOS string passes through one of these hexes, does but not the embankment artwork, is the LOS blocked or not? I think it is blocked as the general rule in PG is the hex block, not necessarily the artwork. What say you? RE: Airborne map Embankment - Col. RE: Airborne map Embankment - plloyd1010 - 05-31-2025 I would go with yes. Sort of like the elevation line consideration. After thinking about it more and visualizing what the terrain is depicting, I went went hex, not artwork. RE: Airborne map Embankment - Grognard Gunny - 05-31-2025 Unfortunately, while the artwork should be the determinate.... but that would be subject to "interpretation" by one or the other of the players and would preclude smooth game playing. So I suggest that the hex be the determinate. (Although "shooting around" a clearly shootable LOS, say, around a half forest hex or a rise corner, DOES drive me to drink, but..... it IS for the better.) GG |
