Power of the East - Grognard Gunny - 03-15-2025 Does anyone have a copy of "Power of the East" or where I might find one? Is is the last scenario book that I am interested in for WWII. Thus far, at any rate. GG RE: Power of the East - BigJimSlade - 03-17-2025 Believe if you are a gold club member it is a free download RE: Power of the East - plloyd1010 - 03-18-2025 I just checked. It is in the Gold Club library. You need Road to Berlin, and Sinister Forces or Slovakia's War to play. RE: Power of the East - Grognard Gunny - 03-20-2025 Got it! Downloaded and ready to go.(My "lick 'em and stick 'em" hands ARE a bit rusty...) But it IS a relatively unexplored (by me) campaign, so it should be interesting. Thanks for the info, mate. GG RE: Power of the East - plloyd1010 - 03-20-2025 Actually there are 2 campaigns in there. Lake Khasan and Khalkhin Gol. They are good studies, but force historical results too hard. You are likely to run into a kommissar problem. I suggest not requiring commissary to move toward demoralized units if the path is blocked by a closer enemy unit. You will see what I mean, and why. Go get'em Georgy! RE: Power of the East - Grognard Gunny - 03-20-2025 Oh yeah, the "Commissar" problem. Both T-Rex and I make every effort to get them shot up...... GG RE: Power of the East - Tambu - 03-29-2025 One of the best parts of playing PG is offing Kommissars, or SS leaders in combat! It's almost as much fun as destroying towed AT guns and their crews. |
