Can L's Help Morale Recov. & Fire / 2 U's? - saracv3 - 08-23-2020
Several references in the rules talk about how Leaders may not move or do anything when helping unit(s) in recovery of morale. If two units are in a hex next to a leader, can that leader (A 10-2-2) help one unit that is disrupted and activate the other good order unit that wants to fire?
My assumption is that Yes he activates the two units, thus one can try for recovery while the other can fire, and that the leader is activated as well. Does the leader apply his combat modifier to the unit that fires? I'm assuming the answer is No to applying the combat modifier.

The leader should be activated with a"Movement" action to help unit recovery, and with a "Fire" action to participate in a direct fire attack. So I'd say they are mutually exclusive.
