EF scen 2 Sneak Attack set-up incorrect? - nbisada - 08-21-2012 Given the bizarre outcomes as described in the AARs for this scenario, it appears that the set-up conditions for the Germans should be 7 hexes from the WEST edge of board 2 rather than the NORTH edge (allowing set-up in the 08xx town hexes and 0713 hill hexes), and the exit should be the EAST edge of board 8 rather than the NORTH edge. We found the set-up conditions as described so incongruous we used these instead. Certainly the scenario is unbalanced, but it should not be outré. This would be a potential Skype scenario if it was not so unbalanced. RE: EF scen 2 Sneak Attack set-up incorrect? - nbisada - 08-21-2012 The scenario can be redeemed by players bidding for the fewest number of turns to achieve German objectives. I will discuss an AAR with my fellow player; thanks for your interest. I tried this one out a while ago and it just seemed completely broken in its setup. Glad to see people are trying our variants of this. RE: EF scen 2 Sneak Attack set-up incorrect? - J6A - 08-24-2012 There are a lot of broken scenarios from the EF days. |
