SR 6 for FitS Scenario 8 - Blackcloud6 - 02-06-2020 SR 6 of this scenario states that a unit attempting to cross the RR bridge must take a morale check, if it fails, it is stuck on the bridge, cannot rally, no other units may cross while it is in this state and must e removed by either a KV-2 platoon or and infantry platoon that spends an entire turn on the bridge with the "broken" unit. The unit is removed if the removing platoon makes a successful die roll. Here's the situation. A truck transporting a 76.2 mm artillery unit attempted to cross the bridge but failed its MC. The KV-2 unit moves onto the bridge to start the removal process. Next turn the Germans get initiative, and hit the bridge with artillery and get an X result, the truck is eliminated but the KV-2 platoon fails its morale check. How do I now treat the KV-2 platoon (or infantry platoon if it was the one removing the "broken" unit)? It is now considered a "broken" unit on the bridge and must now be removed (units that fail the bridge crossing MC per the SR 6 cannot attempt to rally) or is it treated as a normal disrupted/demoralized unit and can attempt to rally? In either case while it is on the bridge, can another attempt to cross? RE: SR 6 for FitS Scenario 8 - Blackcloud6 - 02-06-2020 Matt Ward responded on Facebook: "The KV or infantry can make a rally attempt. No other units may cross until the disrupted unit is removed." |
