RE: Marianas 44 - JayTownsend - 05-18-2014 Shoot AP a reply and I am sure they will replace anybody's counters who were off the mark. They replaced my Liberation 1944 counters when they were messed up. It took about 7-10 days however. RE: Marianas 44 - JayTownsend - 05-18-2014 Too bad about the bad ones, mine are really nice. RE: Marianas 44 - Hugmenot - 05-18-2014 It looks like a double-strike or the ink bled a little due to too heavy a strike. I sometimes have the latter problem when printing PDF's at a local print shop and the printer is at its darkest setting. RE: Marianas 44 - armyduck95 - 05-18-2014 My scan looks better than the actual counters. I will get in touch with AP RE: Marianas 44 - campsawyer - 05-18-2014 (05-18-2014, 09:07 AM)JayTownsend Wrote: My Marianas package came today and my counters were in great shape. The lighter maps are fine but I still prefer the darker maps you guys can't read! You are correct Jay, I like my maps all in black RE: Marianas 44 - campsawyer - 05-18-2014 Those are printing issues with the laser heads. I had the same thing with a printer I use for training manuals. As I am told with some commercial printers there needs to be a recalibration every 100k cycles or so. Looks like the printer missed the maintenance cycle on this. RE: Marianas 44 - JayTownsend - 05-18-2014 [attachment=593]Sorry guys, I punched and clipped my counters already but his is how they should look: RE: Marianas 44 - JayTownsend - 05-18-2014 Dang, my photo is much too close to see but they look really good. RE: Marianas 44 - Hugmenot - 05-18-2014 I see you clipped your counters, Jay. RE: Marianas 44 - JayTownsend - 05-19-2014 I did, so they match the Saipan counters, which were thinner but also clipped. But Liberation 1944 I didn't because they are so thick. Who knows, maybe one day I'll clip those as well? |
