This showed as written that the crossfire is a continuous action throughout the turn from multiple positions if applicable through non adjacent hexes. That seemed to be the issue. At least that’s my interpretation. It actually looks more like it keyed on the word "adjacent". The rule specifically says 2nd and/or subsequent shots. Nothing about each shot being treat as a new "first shot". But if you want to go with that interpretation, then another question comes up. Does unit C get the bonus twice or once? (It would have armor efficiency under rule 11.2.) Or are you creating shots and other shots? If you want to play by your own rules, keep in mind that they are your rules. All of you oldsters could not grasp the notion when I said, before the game you negotiate the rules to be applied. Now this thread has gone on ad nauseam because English seems to be a second language for some. RE: Crossfire PingPong -- 2 Questions - treadasaurusrex - 10-18-2026 No point denigrating those trying to be helpful with a question posed on this channel. Here's my take in Craig's 2 questions: A takes a shot--- and that would be a -5....now... ...FIRST QUESTION.... Confirm, even though there is NO CHANCE of a hit--it can take a shot--setting up the first Crossfire shot? My view is the answer is, YES. C then takes a shot... it would be a 3+2=5AT on the KV1 at this point.....Assume it is not successful with either shot....Desperation rises in the German camp... SECOND QUESTION.... At this point with the 3rd Activation-- B would like to shoot---is it a 2AT or a 4AT?? My view is the answer is YES, unit B gets to make a crossfire shot and the +2 bonus applies. There is no +4 AT crossfire bonus, anywhere in the rules, or on the charts pertaining to AT crossfires. RE: Crossfire PingPong -- 2 Questions - sagunto - 10-19-2026 Amen! RE: Crossfire PingPong -- 2 Questions - cjsiam - 10-20-2026 Tread, your interpretation is not RAW...but can Certainly be agreed at game start... RE: Crossfire PingPong -- 2 Questions - plloyd1010 - 10-20-2026 I would like address the elephant Felipe brought into the room. His basic interpretation is that every shot resets the crossfire situation. (Like Craig says, it's not RAW, but let's run with it for a moment.) Unit C gets 2 shots. Does the first shot reset the crossfire? Why or why not? I still have trouble believing this is still going on.
