RE: Something for the doubters - plloyd1010 - 12-31-2013 Changing colors isn't much of an issue. Though I think I might choose something darker (I started with Avalon Hill red & blue.) [attachment=508][attachment=507] My hangup becomes, once I start the colors, I'll want to make the tanks (& whatever) Axis & Allied. Then there is the question of the OP fire counters. Make them light blue and red, with opposite, darker colors in the rectals? Like Allied targeting Axis? I know, I over do everything. Well, far be it from me to interfere with one's masochistic proclivities. :-) Of course, anything that avoids the use of two counters to do a single job (OF or digging-in) is useful and welcome. Vis-a-vis Vince, I assign (oddly enough): US/CW = blue vs. Germany/Italy = red (I think because the US leader's morale circle is blue whereas Germany's are red) but USSR = red vs. Germany/allies = blue (well, those Stalinists are "the reds"). |
