RE: OBA smoke - cjsiam - 06-08-2025 The the consensus (so far expressed) is that, certainly for 4th Ed. (and derivatives), in WWII and Modern, that an unlimited number of OBA can be fired at the same time---but only 3 can combine as a single fire mission on a target hex..... So---I THINK this means if I had 6 OBA missions, I could fire at 2 target hexes--with 3units combined in each... Does it also mean (and I think it does) that those TWO combined (3 each) missions could target the same hex---but just require two different rolls or attacks? RE: OBA smoke - Grognard Gunny - 06-09-2025 ..... and if 16 angels can dance on the head of a pin, how many can trapse into a swamp? (We ARE getting into the minute aspects of the "ruleset" as is, when the underlying rule of thumb is "Keep it simple...!") But, then again, that's just me. (It's supposed to be fun.) A cautionary note: Don't change the rules mid-game. You should finish whatever games you have going according to the understanding of the rules that you started with. RE: OBA smoke - cjsiam - 06-09-2025 ....Well GG.... there is method to the madness... As any late war Soviet or American OBA inventory would demonstrate... It's still simple, ...now it's just clear
