If you like nice rounded corners made easily, you will not be disappointed. May want to check online for technique, as I'm not sure what others do, but I have the "back" side of the counter facing me and can see the corner to be clipped through the opening in the clipper. After you do a few, you'll know the feel of a clean cut and won't have to even look at the counter.

Actually I went from clippers to using a fine
sandpaper. With clippers I would make mistakes every now and then. One can't afford to do this in PG. Some counters came out lopsided, some cut fromInto the num numbers.

Right now I'm using an 800 fine type sandpaper, It is doing well as a deburing tool and rounds the the corners nicely.
It does, however, produce a bit of wear on the edges. And it probably is more laborious than the laminator.

First clippers to remove flash/chaff.
Then the hand-held Oregon Laminator 2mm corner rounder (I wouldn't mind 2.5mm but I got the 2mm one for my ASL counters).
Finally a professional nail file to smooth both sides edges and the tiny nibs left after clipping.

...I might overdo things a tad Confused

Might may be an understatement.

I do clip my counters using the Oregon Laminator Deluxe 2mm corner rounder. I was using a nail clipper before that and was doing an ok job.

Guilty - 2.5mm Oregon at work.
(Crappy Quick Pic in the basement).

Peter's New Corpo Alpini Counters from the DIY Sub-Forum:
"...Use them in Fronte Russo, Little Saturn and Conquest of Ethiopia. (Maybe kick a little Gebirgsjäger butt while you are at it!)..."

I did go out and uuy a laminator. Nice addition, but more time consuming because I have a palsied left hand. However, I feel that I’m making the game “complete.” It reminds me of deburrng metal partswhen I was an assembler in a hi-tech valving business.

Last night it took me probably about 2 hours to do my 1st Crete scenario of around 51+ counters. (#10,Agia) Once a scenario is done, it takes less time for all succeeding scenarios due to the overlap of units called for in scenarios.
