Negative J6A, there was never a First Sino-Japanese War product in que. You are remembering the unlicensed counter images for that war that were on the internet for a while by a third party.
Not that Captain Terror wouldn't enjoy doing such a project.

Yeah I saw that in the email and then went to the site to order and that page said laser cut. I guess he email trumps the product page?

Yeah, the product page doesn't get updates so often it seems. As long as it works so you can hand over the money they are happy.
