RE: Saipan 1944 - JayTownsend - 11-12-2012 Thanks, I hope I have something here the PG Gamers will enjoy to play and will honor the memory of so many veterans lost there! I recieved my copy late last night and it looks good but I haven't had much time with it yet, as i was busy completing another project. Today I will have more time to check it out in more detail! Thanks for all the supporting gamers out there! RE: Saipan 1944 - Poor Yorek - 11-12-2012 (11-12-2012, 04:59 AM)JayTownsend Wrote: will honor the memory of so many veterans lost there! Speaking of which, perhaps some of the membership may not know about: http://www.pacificwarmuseum.org/index.asp RE: Saipan 1944 - JayTownsend - 11-12-2012 I wouldn't mind seeing that if I am ever around that area! RE: Saipan 1944 - campsawyer - 11-12-2012 Jay, one question you might have missed in my prior post. Are there special rules for cane fields other than the regular field rules? RE: Saipan 1944 - JayTownsend - 11-13-2012 Treat them as regular fields! RE: Saipan 1944 - campsawyer - 11-13-2012 (11-13-2012, 12:36 AM)JayTownsend Wrote: Treat them as regular fields! Thanks RE: Saipan 1944 - Michael Murphy - 11-13-2012 You might want to check out the full color Saipan terrain chart that AP has put online. It's downloadable, printable, and simply awesome to look at. RE: Saipan 1944 - joe_oppenheimer - 11-13-2012 The terrain chart is helpful, but I'd love it if Jay would give us an example of a swamp, marsh and cliff hex from the Saipan maps. RE: Saipan 1944 - JayTownsend - 11-13-2012 No examples while I am at work, but maybe later when I have time for the home computer. Maybe this will help for now: http://www.avalanchepress.com/SaipanTerrain.pdf |
