RE: Saipan 1944 - JayTownsend - 11-12-2012

Thanks, I hope I have something here the PG Gamers will enjoy to play and will honor the memory of so many veterans lost there!

I recieved my copy late last night and it looks good but I haven't had much time with it yet, as i was busy completing another project. Today I will have more time to check it out in more detail! Smile

Thanks for all the supporting gamers out there!

Speaking of which, perhaps some of the membership may not know about: http://www.pacificwarmuseum.org/index.asp

I wouldn't mind seeing that if I am ever around that area!

Jay, one question you might have missed in my prior post. Are there special rules for cane fields other than the regular field rules?

RE: Saipan 1944 - JayTownsend - 11-13-2012

Treat them as regular fields!

You might want to check out the full color Saipan terrain chart that AP has put online. It's downloadable, printable, and simply awesome to look at.

The terrain chart is helpful, but I'd love it if Jay would give us an example of a swamp, marsh and cliff hex from the Saipan maps.

Yup, I had emailed Mike B. on this. It helps out quite a bit.

No examples while I am at work, but maybe later when I have time for the home computer.

Maybe this will help for now:
