RE: looking for Liberation 1944 - vince hughes - 07-24-2014 OK, no worries. Not sure if you were in the UK, if so, could have probably got it to you quite cheap. ANYBODY ELSE ??? RE: looking for Liberation 1944 - robert t - 07-24-2014 well, I was last month for about a week... :-) I just received a game from Anchorage Alaska which is about as far from me as the UK is. Thanks again though. Robert RE: looking for Liberation 1944 - Shad - 07-25-2014 (07-24-2014, 06:34 PM)vince hughes Wrote: OK, no worries. If that's the case why not try to get them reproduced at a print shop with brighter tones? RE: looking for Liberation 1944 - vince hughes - 07-25-2014 Counters are crap as well. RE: looking for Liberation 1944 - larry marak - 07-26-2014 The counters for Liberation are about double standard thickness. RE: looking for Liberation 1944 - Matt W - 07-26-2014 I have to agree with Vince, the counters are certainly wonderful for a stand alone game but they do not "play well" with the other games and supplements. Good Call Vince, My a few new counters on Saipan are peeling on the faces, and I had to cut some out of the sprue with an knife, looks like the laser didn't go all the way through, although the scenarios are great and the maps are gorgeous as well. Ditto see my comments at the end of my last aar RE: looking for Liberation 1944 - robert t - 07-31-2014 so now that the reprint is shipping, what are the differences between the two versions? Are the counters like Saipan? Is the map art fixed/lighter? Are there more maps so less "ignore this terrain feature? Pics would be nice too. :-) Thanks, Robert RE: looking for Liberation 1944 - vince hughes - 07-31-2014 I think you might be the first in a position to report these Q's |
