RE: The SaiPackage! - thomaso827 - 03-01-2023 Love the package deals, but I keep running into these where I already have 2 out of 3 of the items. RE: The SaiPackage! - JayTownsend - 03-11-2023 I got to look at some of the completed artwork/counters for The Fall of The Philippines from Mike/AP and it looks outstanding. RE: The SaiPackage! - JayTownsend - 03-12-2023 For Gold-Club Members an early look: Avalanche Press RE: The SaiPackage! - JayTownsend - 03-24-2023 Luzon Tank Battles and Fall of the Philippines 1941 Both were in the recent Gold-Club news letter and look great. RE: The SaiPackage! - JayTownsend - 07-18-2023 Gold Club: Early Order Roundup (Part One) Pacific Land War Supposedly, land war in Asia (including the Pacific islands) isn’t as popular a topic as Europe or North Africa, but Panzer Grenadier: Saipan 1944 defied that once we poured out some expansion love – Marianas 1944 and Leyte 1944. An important factor has been a beautiful and very adaptable set of maps (six, counting the two from Marianas) that made it possible to keep expanding the story; we haven’t always done a good job of thinking through our map sets. Saipan 1944 is returning soon in a new Playbook edition, with the scenario set thoroughly revised and placed in story-arc format. There are three expansions in the pipeline: Sensha Shidan The story of the Japanese 2nd Tank Division’s doomed fight against the Americans on Luzon in 1945. It’s a smaller book, which I like for production purposes, and you get a lot of Japanese tank action, which you’re going to really like. Fall of the Philippines 1941 This in contrast is a large expansion, and brings you plenty of action as the Japanese invade the Philippines. You get Philippine Scouts, American cavalry, the Philippine regular army and of course more Japanese. War Plan Gray This is a download, and it’s ready for deployment but I held it back to wait for Saipan’s Playbook edition. The U.S. Marines hit the beaches of the Azores, and fight the Portuguese. Then the Germans try it, and also fight the Portuguese. Part of me wants to make die-cut pieces and put the scenarios and background in a book. Then the insanity passes.
