While there wasn't much to this scenario, the effort to run into town on the road was a complete disaster. All the Germans had to do was to shoot up the road and all else would follow. About the only thing the Americans could do differently would have been to lead with their armor, instead of with the Infantry, which would have gotten them shot up even more. The transport units were held back to preclude blocking the road. Not much worked. Not a very auspicious scenario.
