The premise is the Japanese, out on a secret base in the late 1940s, have cyberneticly wired Godzilla's brain to control him. The UN has found out and attacks with lots of late war hardware. Iron Curtain Soviet & US army with airborne, USMC, & Germans. It was a very brittle scenario, but lots of fun.

Sounds like Ogre except with Godzilla instead of a giant tank.

Having been a fan of Godzilla for 45+ years, this tops my list of movies I want to see in 2014.

Pretty much, but when this "Ogre" dies, he dies fast. There is also an immobile robot version the Japs are building. In the conventional side, the UN just wipes the island.
