A user posted the following question on BGG. I am not sure I fully understood the situation and thus choose to post it here.

"Movement Assault through a bridge hexside crossing over the river are the Direct Fire factors halved in the assault combat?"

There is no halving of DF for assaulting on a bridge. The only time I know of in the 3rd edition rules of halving or quartering is disruption or demoralization.
