I read that only german and soviet gards AFV can receive a +1 bonus in an assault.
Do you know what's happening for the polish, english and U.S. tanks and infantry after 1944 ??

Hi Gvan,

If you look at the Assault Combat Chart that comes in all the games, the +1 column assault for AFVs in an assault with a friendly inf unit reads: "Modifier only applies to Germans in all scenarios, Soviet Guards after 1942; Polish, US and Commonwealth in scenarios taking place after 1943."

The after 1944 rule is Armor Efficiency, which allows 2 AT shots per turn for AFVs - Again, Germans in all scenarios, Soviet Guards in 1943 or later; and Polish, US and Commonwealth in 1944 or later. (Rule 11.2)
